Let’s start with some good news, specifically on the exciting potential of wind power as a renewable energy source and its future benefits for our planet.

In weather history, 10 April marked the 43rd anniversary of the Red River tornado outbreak in Oklahoma and Texas. There were many long track violent tornadoes that occurred in this outbreak, the most notable one was the Wichita Falls event.

This week marks the 48th anniversary of the April 3-4, 1974 tornado superoutbreak, which is the outbreak with the most violent category tornadoes to date.
March 2020 was a record setting month for tornado activity across the USA. Recent advancements in Doppler radar technology may have played a part.
