That’s a wrap for this post! Thanks to everyone for stopping by.

Now, a note regarding social media.

With the exception of Tumblr, I’m cutting back on my social media presence and, much to my surprise, I find I don’t miss it. “Twitter” aka “X” has become far more vitriolic, vile and hateful. Threads is fine, but unless you’re very well known in some sort of national or international media, you’re starting over from square one with a long, long uphill struggle to gain traction, followers, and be noticed by anyone. I’m not leaving anytime soon, but have taken an evaluative stance like many others and ponder the future of these and many other social media platforms that may have gone well past their usefulness and validity.

I’ve been on Tumblr since 2009 and have enjoyed it immensely. A few “takeovers” and shifts in ownership have caused substantial disruption regarding content, but it’s improving. I’ve got a loyal following that’s been with me over fourteen years and have developed and curated a quality archive that is free from the histrionics, politics, misinformation, and disinformation that has been so pervasive in almost every other social media platform. Feel free to visit me at Tornado Quest on Tumblr. I think you’ll enjoy your stay.

Happy New Year to everyone! Here’s to a great 2024!

See you next Saturday!
